Stream-of-consciousness worked for Faulkner, why not me?

Ok - we're pretty much at the month mark today - 31 days. Well, that really is the month mark since only four months stop at 30 days - there are seven with 31. So, 31 days is a month. Hence, one month from today really. How many people do you know will actually use "hence" in a sentence? I might as well just throw in a "whither thou" or something equally archaic.

I don't have much today other than our friend Kara has, I believe, ventured "'round the bend." But, I have to admit that it is a truly inspired parody of Money for Nothing from Dire Straits. It also got me thinking about 80s music again, which really is not all that hard. However, I don't think this is necessary. I haven't really heard anyone clamoring for Tiffany, Sophie B. Hawkins or Vanilla Ice. However, there certainly are a couple of names on this list of artists who I would pay some dinero to see again. Um, no, I will not be Hangin' Tough with NKOTB and I've already seen Vixen open up for a thoroughly inebriated Eddie Money.

What the f**k??. 'Nuff said. Really, I've got nothin'. This one speaks for itself.

There are actually people "live blogging" the Spelling Bee. How would you have done in Round One? Round Two? Mr. Big Dubya was in a town-wide spelling bee in the 6th grade (for those doing the math that was 1979). Unfortunately, accommodate is spelled with two m's, not one. Fortunately, my father is not one of these crazy people and it was a trip to 31 Flavors and not another three hours of reading the dictionary gearing up for the next county-wide competition.

Finally, this is...um...um...entertaining? You may want to avert your eyes on a couple, some may actually induce vomiting or uncontrollable laughter. But they all provoke the "what the f**k were they thinking" response.
