Some of you know I love trivia. (And since I've added this link I might as well say I never did get the call, but I will try again.) I love trivia and puzzles and crosswords. I hate logic puzzles, but I love cryptoquotes. I do crossword puzzles on-line and I have copies of Games strewn throughout the house. I blame my father for this affliction.
Anyway, that's sort of a roundabout way of saying I have a puzzle for you all. It's a heavy dose of trivia and not for the faint-of-heart. A mix CD of what I'm listening to lately goes to the first reader that figures it all out and has all the correct answers. So, fire up the Google and start figurin'.
What do the items following have in common? You'll have to think it through and you may have to make one or two moves from the main answer to get the overall theme - kind of a "six degrees" sort of thing. Have fun!

Wouldn't that be awkward if I solved the cryptoquote wrong and then:
1) I'm a dork for being the only tool that tried to solve the quote and
2) I did it poorly.
Are you referring to the Salt n Pepa version of "Push It" or the Static X interpretation thereof? Because, really, that one piece of information is all that's holding me back.
(Or, at the very least, deciding what's going to be running through my head for the rest of the afternoon.)
