Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!

I have been in a personal blogging funk lately. I imagine that it's due, in some part, to the situation I found myself in recently, something of which I will go into greater detail later. Just not today and not in this post. No, this is a fun post. A post where I get to give something away. To you, dear reader. Yes, I realize I didn't pluralize "reader" - there can't be anyone still reading. I'm pretty sure my inability to post anything over the past few weeks may have tried the patience of even the most loyal patron. But, I will test that theory.

I have two copies of Ghostbusters: The Video Game for the Wii to give away this week. I haven't yet played it - I haven't played any games in the past few weeks - just not in the mood. That's actually a tad ironic since given my mood as of late (up until the past few days, that is) you would think I would want to blow some shit up, cross streams or think about the Sta-Puft Marshmallow Man. But, alas, no.

Anyway, entering this contest is ridiculously easy. There are two ways to do so:

1. Leave a comment - any old comment will do. As many as you want. Talk about the weather; tell me a joke; recommend something I should be watching or listening to; anything. Just say something.

2. Post this contest to Twitter and include @mrbigdubya in your tweet. Then come back and link to that tweet so I know it's up.

It's that easy. Two winners will be chosen at random by some Byzantine formula I have yet to devise. You have until next Wednesday, July 22 at 11:59 p.m.to get your entry in - winners will be announced on Thursday, July 23.

So a guy goes to a doctor and says, "Doctor, I've got a problem. Sometimes I feel like a wigwam, other times I feel like a teepee." The doctor sits back, scratches his chin, and says, "I know what your problem is: you're too tense!" Hope that gave you a slight chuckle!

I wish I had a Wii.

Tell us your thoughts on the new depeche mode album. Does it stand up to their earlier work?

So not fair.... some of us have to think (and post) the big thoughts to get readers... you just get free stuff in the mail and give it away.

I have a wii.... but I think we have this game so, you can take me out of the running.... generous, aren't I?

If you're not already watching it, you should give True Blood a shot. It's on DVD and BluRay now. It isn't even remotely what I expected it to be, it's really very good so far. I'm only two episodes in, though.

I love Ghostbusters! I remember buying the I've Been Slimed T shirt at the BigE when the movie came out.

My fav quote:

Am I the only one a little weirded out that Ghostbusters came out in 1984 (ie. sophmore year of high school) and the kids playing it now wouldn't have even been born yet?? Just me? ok.

And remember, if someone asks if you are a god, you say YES.

Sue, no it's even weirder to talk about Ghostbusters to said kids and have replies like "huh?", "what?", or "check out this new cool franchise!".

Dubya: save one for yourself. You need to bust some ghosts!

Yes! Yes I am a god.

My adorable, precious 7-year old twin daughters would *love* to play Ghostbusters on the Wii.

Don't make me beg, cuz I will you know.

I've been too busy to even notice who's posting and who's not. I hope all's well; you can give us a call (or send an email) anytime.

The game does sound cool. And Mrs. Big Dubya wasn't eligible to win anyway, right?
